Permanent Account Number (PAN) is a ten-digit unique alphanumeric number issue by the Income Tax Department. It is a very important financial document.
If you are applying for new PAN card, then you have to submit following documents with the application form:
- POI: Proof of identity
- POA: Proof of address
- Proof of date of birth (PODB) is applicable only for Individual & HUF status of applicant.
