Nothing Phone 2: After the success of Nothing SmartPhone 1, CEO Carl Pei’s next-gen Nothing SmartPhone 2 is launching soon. Pei confirms that the Nothing SmartPhone 2 is in the making and will be released soon as a ‘premium smartphone‘.
Pei mention that it will be a premium iteration of Nothing 1 SmartPhone. It is possible that the upcoming Nothing 2 SmartPhone will get better chipsets.
Unlike the previous Smartphone, the Nothing SmartPhone 2 will be launching in the United States as well.
The Phone 2 won’t compete for head-on with iPhone 15 or Galaxy S23, although it will take on Pixel 7 or Pixel 8 given the timeline it arrives.
Talking about other features, this smartphone will comes with fast charging onboard, better speakers setup, IP67 dust and water resistance, and on top of that, an energy-efficient 120Hz panel as some improvements over the last generation Nothing Smartphone 1.
The usual stuff i.e., 5G, dual camera at the back, customizable LED glyph system, and a few other things will make it to Nothing SmartPhone 2 as usual.
According to Past leaks that the Nothing SmartPhone 2 will come with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Additionally, it is expected to feature a 120 Hz OLED display. Also, it will come with larger battery capacity of 5,000 mAh, compared to the 4500 mAh on the 1st smartphone.
The new Nothing SmartPhone 2 will be more premium than the previous, which was at Rs 32,999. The CEO stated that the Nothing 2 smartphone will be “more advanced” with software being one of its main focus areas.
