Nothing Phone (2) launch soon, Know the Specs

OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei’s brand, Nothing, has announced that the release of the highly anticipated Nothing Phone 2. Let’s look at all the details about its specifications and more.

The company’s first attempt was the transparent and illuminating Nothing (1). According to reports, there are more than 650,000 units of Nothing Smartphone 1 sold worldwide.

Now everyone is looking for its upcoming successor Nothing 2. This smartphone has been teased officially on Twitter and is coming soon.

In an official tweet, the company has confirmed that Nothing (2) will arrive in Summer 2023 and has also given us a sneak peek at the new transparent rear panel.

Nothing Phone 2 Design

The company has shared a first look at the rear panel of Nothing SmartPhone (2). And as expected, it will have a transparent panel like the Nothing Phone (1). The all new “Glyph” lights will highlight the smartphone. On the front of smartphone, we will still have a symmetrical bezel around the display. 

Specifications

Nothing phone will be more powerful than its initial release. The company has already confirmed the chipset for Phone 2. At MWC 2023 earlier this year, it was announced that Nothing SmartPhone 2 will feature a flagship Snapdragon 8-series chipset.

In addition, the smartphone includes will also include at least 12GB of RAM along with a virtual RAM feature. And also it will have 256GB of onboard storage, a 5,000mAh battery (more than the Phone 1’s 4,500mAh battery), and more, as per the leaked reports from Internet.

Adaptive AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate on the Nothing SmartPhone 2. This smartphone will come up with all new software.

Nothing Phone 2 Release Date

As per the Official Tweet, the next smartphone of Nothing will be launching in Summer 2023. So we can expect the Phone 2 release date between late June or July 2023.

The Nothing Phone 2 is confirmed to launch in Europe and the US in the same summer window.

Price and Availability

Nothing’s first smartphone was a premium, powered with a Snapdragon 7-series chipset, wireless charging, and more for around Rs 30,000 (or 469 Euros). In upcoming smartphone the company will provide Snapdragon 8-series chipset, design and software upgrades, and possibly improved cameras.

So we can expect the higher price than the previous smartphone. The Nothing Phone 2 will also be available on Flipkart.
