Google Pixel 7 series support 5G with Latest Update

Google Pixel 7 March 2023 Update: Google on Monday announced its first Pixel’s feature drop update of 2023 is starting to roll out for Pixel phones. 

This Google update contains new features Health Connect, and faster night sight. Finally, after months of waiting, enables 5G connectivity on Pixel 7, and 7 Pro in India via March 2023 update.

Google delayed the system update for Pixel 7 series smartphones because of testing the software thoroughly to ensure the device lasts long with 5G connectivity. As we know that Google is Tech Giant Company and definitely the company focuses on Customer’s full satisfaction.

Both the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro have long battery life and even thermal performance too is better than the previous Pixel Smartphone.

With the March 2023 Pixel Feature Drop update, Pixel 6a, Pixel 7, and 7 Pro now will be able to support 5G. In India, both Reliance Jio & Airtel offers 5G cellular services. Both these companies are offering 5G for free, and there’s no need to upgrade your 4G SIM card.

For Google’s Pixel 6a smartphone the March update will be available from 20 March 2023.

How to enable 5G on Pixel 6a, Pixel 7, and Pixel 7 Pro

1. First, Pixel device owners must upgrade to the latest March 2023 update.
   • Go to Settings → System → System update → Update
   • After update ensure the update is Android 13 and the Android security update read March 5, 2023.
2. Now, to enable 5G,
   • Go to Settings → Network & internet → SIMs → Preferred network type → select 5G

As mentioned, Airtel and Jio are offering 5G services for free. You need to ensure that you have a postpaid connection or a prepaid plan above Rs 230.
