ChatGPT Plus subscription now available in India


ChatGPT Plus subscription is now available in India, the chatbot’s creator, OpenAI, said in a tweet today. OpenAI launched a ChatGPT Plus subscription in February for $20 per month (roughly Rs 1,650).

It has “faster response speed” and “priority access to new features.” Additionally, users will be able to use the AI chatbot even if “demand is high.”

OpenAI says the subscription is available in India, it also there is no announcement of pricing yet. That means users will have to pay in USD per month to access the benefits of the subscription.

CEO of OpenAI, Sam Altman, said that the company “loves India.”

OpenAI is also working with Indian social media firm Koo to help users compose content without a hassle.

ChatGPT Plus also lets users experience GPT-4, the new-gen LLM (large language model) that even analyze text inputs. If you want to use GPT-4 technology for free, then Microsoft is offering an option.

Microsoft announced that its Bing Chat or Bing AI is running on GPT-4 tech. Bing Chat is free to use in India, and it is also available in app form.

GPT4 is “multimodal”, which means it can generate content from both image and text prompts.

ChatGPT 3.5 takes only text inputs, whereas the latest version GPT-4 of the large language model can also use images as inputs to recognize objects in a picture and analyze them.

ChatGPT Version 3.5 is limited to about 3,000-word responses. While GPT-4 can generate responses of more than 25,000 words. The version scores 40% higher on certain tests of factuality.
