Swami Vivekananda Jayanti 2023 aka National Youth Day: The original name Narendranath Datta. Born January 12, 1863, Calcutta [now Kolkata] and died July 4, 1902, near Calcutta[now Kolkata].
Born into an upper-middle-class family of the Kayastha (scribes) caste in Bengal. Vivekananda founded the Ramakrishna Math and the Ramakrishna Mission.

FACT#1. Vivekananda was born on 12 January 1863, 6 minutes before sunrise, at 6.33 minutes 33 seconds.
FACT#2. He is known for his oratory skills, especially the English speech he gave in Chicago is still famous today.
FACT#3. He loved animals and birds, he kept cows, monkeys, goats, and peacocks in his childhood.
FACT#4. Swamiji’s faith in God was lost due to no employment even after doing his BA. And he started saying – “God does not exist”.
FACT#5. Swamiji loved his mother very much and continued to worship her throughout her life.
FACT#6. Vivekananda died on 4 July 1902 at the age of 39 in Belur Math. His birthday is celebrated as National Youth Day in India.
