PM Awas Yojana 2023: The Prime Minister Awas Yojana scheme is a very beneficial scheme launched by the Government of India on June 1, 2005. This scheme is for people living in the slum area and for the poor urban people. The purpose of PMAY is to provide interest subsidy on housing loans to citizens of India.
There are two subsections of the PMAY scheme, namely PMAY-Gramin and PMAY-Urban. The subsections divided based on the area on which they focus.

For both Salary based & Self employee citizens
- Voter ID Card
- Aadhaar card
- Government issued card with photo
- FWS/LIGs/MIGs certificate
- Driving license (if you have)
- Verified letter from a government official with a photographs
Check List on PM Awas Yojana Online
If you have registered under PMAY Gramin, here’s a list of options you can perform to check your name in the PMAY List 2023-24:
- Visit the official website of PM Awas Yojana-Gramin (https://pmaymis.gov.in/)
- Select the ‘Stakeholders’ option from the Menu
- Click on “Indira Awas Yojana (IAY)/PMAYG Beneficiary”
Here you will have the following option to search your name in the PM Awas Yojana Gramin list by two ways:
A. With Registration Number: You will have to enter the Registration number of yours in the required field and then, click on ‘Submit’, if your name is in the list, it will reflect the details on your screen.
B. Without Registration Number: If you don’t have the Registration Number, select the second option named as ‘Advanced Search’. Provide the asked details over there such as State, District, Block, Panchayat, etc. Post that the system will ask you for your:
- Name
- BPL Number along with A/c No.
- Sanction Order
- Father / Husband Name
- Once you have filled in all these details, click on ‘Search’ and check for your name in the final list (Pmay list 2020 21).
