How to apply for Passport: A Passport is a necessary travel document for those who are travelling abroad for education, tourism, business purposes, medical attendance and trips. Here are the easy and simple way to get New Passport in just few days.
As per reports of Government of India, as of December 12 last year, approximately 96 million of Indian citizens had valid passports.

Step-by-Step guide for New Passport
1. Visit the Passport Seva Kendra online portal. www.passportindia.gov.in
2. Click on New User Registration.
4. Fill the details and Click on Register.
5. Now, re-login with your credentials.
6. Click on,“Apply for Fresh Passport/Re-issue of Passport” link.
7. Fill in the required details in the form and submit.
8. In theTo note, Online Payment has been made mandatory for booking appointments at all PSK/POPSK/PO. Payments can be made via Credit/Debit Card (MasterCard and Visa), Internet Banking ( State Bank of India (SBI) Associate Banks and Other Banks), and SBI Bank Challan. next step, click on “Pay and Schedule Appointment” link on the “View Saved/Submitted Applications” screen to schedule an appointment.
9. Then “Print Application Receipt” link to print the application receipt containing the Application Reference Number (ARN)/Appointment Number.
An SMS with appointment details is also accepted as proof of appointment during your visit to Passport Office.
Visit the Passport Seva Kendra (PSK)/Regional Passport Office (RPO) where appointment has been booked for physical verification, along with original documents.
