Heeraben Modi News: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today visited his mother Heeraba Modi who is in a hospital in Ahmedabad since last night. Having flown in from Delhi around 4 pm, he left the hospital just before 5.30, spending over an hour with his mother.
The Prime Minister had also visited her on her 99th birthday.
“Heeraben Modi passed away on 30/12/2022 at 3.30 am during the treatment at U N Mehta Heart Hospital,” the medical bulletin said.
As the news of her passing emerged, condolences and tributes began pouring in.
Heeraba Modi is the mother of Narendra Modi, one of world’s the most powerful leaders. She got married to a tea stall owner, Damodardas Mulchand Modiin Vadnagar, Mehsana, Gujarat at a very young age.
Heeraben and her husband Mulchand Modi had six children together; five sons, and a daughter.
