Atal Pension Yojana (APY): Documents, Apply Process 2023

Atal Pension Yojana, is a pension scheme for citizens of India is focused on the unorganized sector workers. The GOI has announced a new scheme called Atal Pension Yojana(APY) in 2015-16 budget. The APY is focusses on all citizens in the unorganized sector.

Age of 18 years to 40 years citizens able to enroll APY 2023 Scheme. Also private sector employees can also apply to this scheme. With APY, minimum pension of Rs. 1,000/- or 2,000/- or 3,000/- or 4,000 or 5,000/- per month will be given at the age of 60 years guaranteed.

  • All citizen of India aged between 18-40 years
  • Aadhaar with Mobile number linked
  • Bank account (Any Bank)
  • Voter Id card / Aadhaar card (Address proof)
  • Birth Certificate (Age Proof)

Step to Apply for APY 2023

  • Visit website “https://enps.nsdl.com/eNPS/NationalPensionSystem.html “ and select “Atal Pension Yojana-APY”.
  • Select “APY Registration”
  • Fill the basic details in the form
  • Complete KYC through 3 options
    • Offline KYC
    • Aadhaar OTP
    • Virtual ID
  • User will get acknowledgement number
  • After that fill personal details and select the pension amount after 60 years.
  • After “confirms” for personal details, user then has to fill nominee details
  • Once Aadhaar is OTP verified Citizen gets successfully registered in APY
